Current Projects
Women Working @ Winning...New Business
Women Working @ Winning...New Business commenced in July 2007 - a two year project aimed at providing up to 370 participants from around the Limestone Coast region, SW Victoria and Adelaide with new and innovative ways of skills training and mentoring to grow their business. This has been made possible by a grant from AusIndustry through the Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business program.
Biz Boost
20 women small business operators will be chosen from a strict selection process and provided with a cost effective program of one-on-one professional training in their own workplace from a skilled visual merchandiser, a customer service trainer, a professional marketing adviser, a website evaluator with business planning to complete this element conducted in October 2008 throughout the region.
Winning Links
This Business Exchange will provide a novel approach to applying mentoring techniques for 40 young female entrepreneurs with five overnight exchange visits planned - 22 May 2008 to Hamilton, 30 July 2008 to Horsham, Adelaide 23 and Portland 24 November 2008. A return exchange will be arranged to the Limestone Coast in March 2009 as a part of Internation Women's Day celebrations. This exchange will include a Leadership Workshop - Dare to be Different and graduation ceremony.

Limestone Coast on Display
An innovative way of supplying new commerical opportunities to a group of 20 small business operators. Businesses will have the opportunity to complete Export Ready and Marketing workshops prior to the unique regional showcase on 10 October 2008 in Rundle Mall. A further 8 businesses that are unable to be there will have a DVD produced for display throught the day with the top 100 businesses in SA together with other business support staff invited.

Strength in Numbers...
20 businesses will be provided with an oppportunity to travel to two gift fairs in Melbourne in August 2008 and February 2009. This will allow the small business operator to purchase a wider choice of products, the opportunity view new product development and to work collaboratively together to strengthen and expand the retail profile of the Limestone Coast. A Strategic Alliance workshop will be conducted for participating businesses prior to these visits.
Business Familiarisation Tours
Three tours supporting at least 90 small business operators throughout the Limestone Coast to visit successful businesses from the SW Victorian regions of Portland - 30 November 2007, Horsham - 29 February 2009 and Warrnambool - 19 September 2008 will build networks and encourage the formation of business markets into South West Victoria.
